You can now purchase our 2013 Season Pass. The Season Pass consists of a single ticket to 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and a single ticket for 'Forever Plaid'. Each ticket is unrestricted; You can use these tickets on any one night of performance for either show. These make wonderful gifts because they aren't restricted to particular performance nights.


Joseph Logo2The first show in our Season lineup is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This biblical re-telling of the story of Joseph and his 'coat of many colors'; a timeless classic piece of musical theatre with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Featuring classic songs like Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door, the beautiful story of Joseph will be a memorable musical theatre experience for your entire family. 'Joseph' opens July 19 and closes July 27.




forever_plaid_slideshow1Next, Forever Plaid is a musical salute to the four-part harmony groups of the 1950's. The members of the fictional group Forever Plaid are killed in a bus accident on their way to their last concert - and by cosmic circumstance, they are able to perform the show they never got to perform. Touching, sweet, innocent and fun, with wonderful, heartfelt tunes from a bygone era. Playing one weekend only, opening Thursday, September 19. Both shows are appropriate for all ages.

‘Joseph’ Auditions on May 4th!
Joseph Logo2Auditions for our Summer 2013 Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are taking place May 4, at Buchanan High School - 1560 North Minnewawa Avenue. Auditions for our Kids Ensemble (age 8 to 14) will take place at 9:00A.M. and those auditioning for our regular cast (age 15+)  will audition at 11:00a.m. To audition, you must bring a memorized song with piano sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist. Those auditioning for the Adult Cast will also have a short dance audition. For those selected, Rehearsals will begin June 10th (6:00) for our Adult Cast and June 11th (5:00) for our Kid's Ensemble. Rehearsals will take place at Buchanan High School (June) and the Mercedes Edwards Theatre (July). The production opens July 19 and plays through July 27. Auditions start promptly at the posted times - do not be late! Scott Hancock to Direct ‘Forever Plaid’
Scott Hancock to Direct ‘Forever Plaid’ Scott Hancock, our current Director for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will also be directing our September production of Forever Plaid! Scott had previously directed Forever Plaid for Townsend Opera Players and has also served as Musical Director for the show. Forever Plaid will consist of four Benefit Performances for CenterStage Clovis Community Theatre September 19-21 at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District Auditorium.

Audition Announcement for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Auditions for the Summer 2013 Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will take place Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Buchanan High School (1560 North Minnewawa Avenue) in Clovis. The Joseph Kids Ensemble  registrations and auditions will start at 9:00am with adult-cast registration starting at 11:00am. Announcing Season 2013!
Joseph Logo2Centerstage Clovis Community Theatre is proud to announce our upcoming Season 2013. Next year we will be producing two musicals in two different venues. The first, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice) which will be performed at the Mercedes Edwards Theatre opening July 19 and closing July 27. Our second production, a benefit for Centerstage Clovis Community Theatre, will be Forever Plaid. This production will take place at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District Auditorium (right across the street from the MET) and will perform one weekend only - September 19 - 21, 2013.

Both Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Forever Plaid will be directed by Scott Hancock.

We are also happy to announce a Season Pass, which will let you get tickets to both productions for a discounted rate (some restrictions apply). We will have more information about our Season Pass soon!

Auditions for Joseph will be announced soon and will likely take place in early May. Rehearsals will take place at Buchanan High School and the Mercedes Edwards Theatre. Joseph will feature a youth choir as part of the production for children age 8 to 15.
