Brandon Crane

Originally from Los Angeles, Brandon enjoyed a broad career in theater and television for many years. Off-stage, Brandon worked in lighting departments on projects ranging from The Grammys to daytime television and served as lighting department head at prestigious Los Angeles venues like the Alex and  Orpheum theatres. As a lighting designer and technical director, Brandon’s work ranges from intimate theatre to the Lyric Opera of Los Angeles and Pasadena Playhouse.

As an actor and singer, Brandon has performed on stages throughout Southern California. Regional theater highlights include: Man of La Mancha (Inland Theater League Founders Award), Pirates of Penzance, Show Boat, Camelot, Once Upon a Mattress, Sweeney Todd. Regional premieres: Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Who’s Tommy; concept recording and workshops for Great Expectations. World premiere: The Claw Machine.

TV/Film: Ben Hanscom opposite Tim Curry in Stephen King’s “It”, “Full House”, “Step By Step”, “Get a Life”, “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show”, Rich Singer in festival favorite “Coverage” and four seasons as Doug Porter on “The Wonder Years”.
